Her vows.
“Long ago you were just a dream. You were a prayer.
Now, you are my love, my dream come true.
I knew the first time I saw you, you are him.
You are the one I talked to God about a million times.
You are the one I have been waiting for.
You are the one the Lord chose for me.
During those moments I thought we would never find each other, God would whisper and say “I see him, I am preparing him for you, all in my perfect time, you will see.”
Now here we are standing before God, the God that brought us together. The God that chose the perfect time for our paths to cross. The God that chose this very day and this very moment for us standing before Him vowing our commitment and love for each other.
You are the Lord’s special blessing and gift to me. My best friend, my companion, my life partner to fulfill the Lord’s plan and purpose.
I love you like no other, I give and share all of me with you. I promise to never take you for granted, to treasure you and love you every day of my life. I promise to be by your side as we take this journey together, through the good, the bad, in the joys, in the sorrows, and through sickness, and in health.
The Lord is faithful and you are proof, you are the answer to my prayers. You are more than what I could have ever asked for, thought of, or even imagined and I promise to continue to pray for and over you all the days of my life.
I promise to always speak in love and kindness, to be patient, and show grace to you. To be quick to forgive and slow to anger. I promise to give you my all, to choose you everyday, and be the wife God has called me to be. I promise to steal a kiss every chance I get, to never stop holding your hand, to always kiss you goodnight and kiss you good morning.
I’ll never stop having a crush on you and falling in love with your smile. If you catch me staring at you, it’s because I’m still in awe that I found the one that my soul loves.
As of today we are no longer two but one. Where you go, I will go and where you stay I will stay. You are my today and all of my tomorrows. I love you with all of my heart and all of my being. And I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us.”
